There are new Page Bean Components available that are used for assigning attribute values. Most users will see something like this:
When using the component you just have to define the attribute types and values – all the rest is taken over by the component. – The component also includes an editing mode which may be switched on for e.g. administrative users:
New values are communicated back to the including program. – And last but not least there is a tree view, which from API point of view is behaving exactly the same way:
